Helping families stay organized
before life becomes complicated.
When important information is organized before a crisis, families can make clearer decisions with less stress, confusion, and uncertainty. Ready Affairs is the company behind the Family Organizer Kit — a printable, fillable digital binder built for the moments that matter most.
Who We Are
Life can change unexpectedly. A medical emergency, hospitalization, caregiving situation, serious illness, accident, or the loss of a loved one often calls for immediate access to critical information. Too often, families discover that documents, account details, insurance information, legal records, and personal instructions are scattered across filing cabinets, inboxes, and devices. Ready Affairs exists to close that gap.
We are a digital preparedness company that creates structured, fillable PDF binders for U.S. families. Our flagship product, the Ready Affairs Family Organizer, is a 19‑section, 189‑page workbook that helps individuals and families record emergency contacts, medical information, financial accounts, legal document locations, digital access instructions, and final wishes — all in one place, organized well before it's urgently needed.
Ready Affairs is the sister brand of After the Loss, which guides families through the practical tasks of the days and weeks following a death. Together, the two brands form a complete before‑and‑after system: Ready Affairs prepares the information in advance, and After the Loss guides families through using it when the moment actually comes.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help individuals and families organize essential information before it becomes urgently needed during life’s most difficult moments. Ready Affairs was created from the belief that much of the stress, delays, and financial burden families experience during a crisis can be reduced through better preparation. Preparation cannot eliminate grief or prevent challenging situations, but it can ease the burden of searching for important information when time, energy, and emotional resources are already limited. Through the After the Loss project, our founder Aurora repeatedly witnessed a common reality: families facing a loss were often forced, in the middle of their grief, to search for passwords, locate bank accounts, gather medical and legal documents, or piece together critical information without a clear system or guidance. Ready Affairs was created to change this reality by providing a simple, organized, and practical system that helps people prepare today with confidence, so their loved ones can face tomorrow with less confusion, fewer complications, and greater clarity.
Ready Affairs provides practical organizational tools designed to help families prepare, document, and manage essential records in a clear, accessible way.
What We Do
Ready Affairs is a digital organization platform focused on family preparedness, personal organization, caregiving support, and emergency planning. Our resources help families keep essential information together in one structured system, including:
- Emergency contacts
- Medical information
- Insurance records
- Financial information
- Property records
- Legal documents
- Personal instructions
- End‑of‑life planning
- Household information
- Digital access instructions — where accounts and passwords are kept, never the passwords themselves
Delivered as an instant digital download. Complete it digitally, print it for physical storage, or use a combination of both. It is not a legal document and does not replace a will, trust, or power of attorney — it simply records where those documents can be found.
Who We Help
Families
Who want to keep important records organized and accessible in one shared, trusted place.

Why Organization Matters
During stressful situations, time and clarity become the most valuable resources. Families frequently discover that important information is stored across:
This fragmentation creates unnecessary delays and confusion, exactly when clarity matters most. Ready Affairs helps families consolidate everything into one organized framework.
Our Approach
We believe that preparedness should be:
Simple
Complex systems get abandoned. Complete one page a week with the 10‑Minute Method, and your life's blueprint gradually comes together. Skip what you don't need.
Accessible
Information should be easy to locate when it's needed — not buried in a system only one person understands.
Flexible
Every family is different. Our tools are designed to adapt to different situations, structures, and needs.
Practical
We focus on real‑world organization rather than unnecessary complexity or legal jargon.
Our Values
Privacy
Our products are 100% offline once downloaded. We never see, host, or store your family's information.
Organization
Clear structure over clutter. Every section is designed to be findable in seconds, not minutes.
Preparedness
We believe the right time to prepare is before it's needed — not during the crisis itself.
Simplicity
No jargon, no overwhelming forms. Just clear fields a family member can actually complete.
Why Ready Affairs Is Different
Many organizational templates try to cover life in general. Ready Affairs is built specifically around the moments that matter most: a medical crisis, a hospitalization, or a loss. Every section was designed around a real gap families describe after living through one of these situations — not a generic checklist.
We're also the only kit in this space directly connected to a companion resource for the "after" moment: After the Loss. Families who prepare with Ready Affairs and later need to act on that information have a matching resource ready for exactly that purpose.
